Fall Arrest Devices
Fall Arrest Devices provide extra protection during the work process. If a worker can reach a fall hazard then a PFAS system must be used to stop or arrest the fall in an emergency. A Fall Arrest system consists of an anchor point (stationary or mobile cart), a PFA approved full body harness and lifeline. The length of the lifeline must be sized to each job. Thorough employee training and daily inspection of equipment is required for Fall Arrest systems.
